Last year as the pandemic was starting, Family Connections quickly enhanced our traditional DADSDAY run by adding a two-month long virtual Run Club. This year, Run Club returns!

The pandemic has challenged parents more than ever, as they balance work with childcare and school commitments, oftentimes from homes that are lacking the technological capacity to meet those needs. Family Connections has continued to provide the many programs we offer to the families that we serve, thanks to the generous support of our donors. Help make it possible for us to continue to do this!

WHAT'S THE DADSDAY RUN CLUB?

IT'S EASY! JUST GET ACTIVE FOR EIGHT WEEKS!

Participate—by running, walking, or strolling – for 8 weeks leading up to June 20.
Share Your Updates—log your miles, and post photos, screenshots or videos.
Thank Your Donors—for all their encouragement and financial support.

FOLLOW THESE EASY STEPS TO START

Sign Up—You can choose to participate as an individual, as a team with family and friends or you can join someone else’s team.
Create Your Pledge Page—tell everyone what you’re doing and build excitement.
Share Your Goal—and ask for pledges as flat dollar amounts, or as dollars-per-mile you will run/walk between April 11 and DADSDAY on June 20.

JOIN AS AN INDIVIDUAL

You will log the cumulative miles that you and your teammates run or walk and raise pledges to support Family Connections together. Click ‘START’ below, then click ‘JOIN’ on the PledgeIt page and choose ‘Create a Team’ to start your own team, or ‘Join a Team’ if you are joining a team that already exists.
